Your tree was planted in government upper primary school, Chokhla District Barmer, Rajasthan. The school which lacked green cover and had a threat of desert intruding towards the school building will now be surrounded by newly planted saplings and desert expansion will also be checked. Now medicinal and fruit bearing trees are being planted in the campus which certainly will benefit the school community. A small flower garden called ‘Maru Vatika’ (Desert Garden) has also been developed inside the school campus. Eco-club consisting of students and teachers has been formed, This club and dedicated care taker of SankalpTaru will ensure protection and upkeep of planted trees and flowers. With all these toiling efforts the school will soon hold a status of Green School.Chokhla School community is not the only beneficiaries of this project!
