The Sankalp Taru foundation planted 200 saplings of Apple species on the land of the farmer. This resulted in alleviating poverty and provided an alternate and a sustainable source of income to the farmer and his family . The initiative also added greenery to the land and prevented soil erosion and hence, land slides in the state.
