How did I help Mallapa?
Mallapa is a progressive farmer in Hovinahalli village in Chikmagalur district, Karnataka. He used to carry out farming for areca nuts on his farm for around 40 years. But because of scanty rainfall, he was not able to carry out proper farming techniques this year. The SankalapTaru Foundation, under the Project Hasiru Sankalpa provided Mallapa with 500 Areca Nut saplings.
