How did I help Pramila?
The Sankalp Taru foundation planted 100 saplings of Peach,apricot and plum species on the land of the farmer. This resulted in alleviating poverty and provided an alternate and a sustainable source of income to the farmer and his family . The initiative also added greenery to the land and prevented soil erosion and hence, land slides in the state.
