In Khyarsi village of Tehri Garhwal, Uttarakhand, SankalpTaru turned a barren land, taken with permission from the Gram Panchayat, into a green and growing space. Over 20,000 trees like Tej Patta, Kachnar, Padam (Himalayan cherry), Banj, and Manipuri Banj were planted. A rainwater system now helps water the plants. This project is also creating jobs for local people and giving new life to the land.
