Sankalp Taru foundation fixed a visit to survey the farmer’s land. Upon survey, it was found that the land is good for farming of fruit bearing trees. Sankalp Taru foundation then, proceeded to plant 1000 saplings of Custard Apple species on the land of the farmer. Thereby, Sankalp Taru foundation helped the farmer mitigating the effects of crop failure and provided an alternate and sustainable source of income for himself and his family. The initiative also spread greenery to the area, prevented soil erosion, pollution and helped recharge ground water table.
