Sheru, a farmer from Bisanpura village in Fazilka district, Punjab, supports his family of five through agriculture and dairy with one cow. With the support of SankalpTaru, he has planted 1,500 kinnu trees on his 5-acre farm. The orchard has opened new livelihood opportunities, reducing his dependence on traditional farming. Sheru is hopeful that kinnu cultivation will bring sustainable income and a brighter future for his family.
