A gift to the agrarian community, is an initiative led by Kia India towards environmental sustainability and combating climate change. The significance of this project is to offset the carbon emission by developing carbon sinks in form of orchids at agricultural land being affected by climate change. The main objective of the program is to offer a Sustainable livelihood opportunity to the climate affected farmers by gifting trees for their farms lands and enriching the quality of the environment. With this, Kia India is passionate and committed to serve the community with clean and green atmosphere for present and the future generation.

We at Kia India, initiated a project โ€“ UPHAAR with an aim of helping the underprivileged farmers in securing a sustainable livelihood by planting trees. Being an automotive company, itโ€™s our social responsibility to act towards empowering community and enriching environment, we conduct our business in. Hence, against each car sold, we are planting trees at farmlands of marginalized farmers to tackle the global concern of climate change.
