SankalpTaru introduced Project Protect Himalayas to prevent the migration of local farmers due to adverse impacts of climate change by supporting them with agroforestry. This includes planting fruit-bearing trees in their lands to help them stabilize their livelihoods along with protecting the ecosystem of the majestic Himalayas.
