While Himachal has tremendous potential for the cultivation of many highly valued agricultural produce, the lack of high-quality saplings, inaccessibility to agricultural infrastructure, scattered land holdings, and transportation difficulties prevent rural farmers from making optimum profits for their livelihoods.
